Medicare & More

MEDICARE - Extension serves as a Senior Health Insurance Counseling For Kansas (SHICK) Partner and provides education and one on one assistance.  Currently, we do not have a SHICK certified extension agent.  However, if you need help with Medicare issues, you can stop by the Twin Creeks Extension District Offices (Hoxie, Oberlin or Norton) and pick up (or print from here) a Medicare "D" intake form & we can find a SHICK Counselor near you.

Medicare Part D (Prescription) Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment takes place between October 15th and December 7th each year.  Every year the plan details change and your prescriptions may also change so it is recommended to review your Part D Prescription Plan each year.  If you are looking to compare plans at home, there are step-by-step video directions on the right side of the Medicare.gov / Medicare Plan Finder website.
